Nanay Raidah is married to Tajah Cabugatan, and both of them are from Lanao del sur. She was from Lumbaya nagi and Tajah was from Balindong. They have been residing in Marawi City after they got married, and they were blessed with 3 children. She became a member of CARD Inc. last March 4, 2016. She had a mini grocery, which complemented his husband’s income as a private school faculty staff.

During the siege, Nanay Raidah was in Lumbaya nagi, attending a “Tibaw “of her relative. At that time, it was 3 months after she gave birth to her youngest son. She got separated from her family and was stuck in Lumbaya nagi. She was only able to reunite with her family in Iligan City after one month. They eventually transferred to Wato Balindong, Lanao del sur. After 4 months, they returned to Marawi City. They were fortunate to have been supported by his husband’s family for a month before they started doing business again. Nanay Raidah then availed a calamity loan of Php 10,000, on top of her existing business loan in CARD, which would help infuse capital to her mini grocery.

While her income is still a little lower than what she used to get before the siege, she is still happy that all of her family survived the tragedy and is now embracing a new beginning. She is working on continuing to grow their family business.
