One More Day with Susanna

Susanna dela Cruz is a 54 year-old widower from Brgy. Aduas Norte, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. She owns a small sari-sari store in her Barangay. Cash flow became really tight when the pandemic hit. Add to this, she has hypertension which adds to their daily expenses. She wasn’t able to replenish her inventory because her store was struggling during the start of the pandemic.

Good thing she has her sons to help her. One is an egg dealer who goes around selling eggs to nearby neighbors and customers. Another is a private employee who helps out around the house.

The loan provided by ASKI and Restart Me helped her with her inventory and her meds.

“Sari-sari man ang problema, sari-sari din ang solusyon.”, she said.
