Job Posting: Executive Director
RestartME seeks a dynamic and strategic Executive Director to lead and drive the expansion of the organization’s mission to assist and empower low-income households affected by disasters. The Executive Director will drive the organization’s growth, operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. This role reports directly to the President and the Board of Trustees, and requires a leader driven and passionate about economic empowerment. Experience in non-profit management or any related field is a must; experience in microfinance or microlending is not required but is certainly a big plus.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand outreach and impact while aligning with the organization’s mission and values.
Collaborate with the Board to establish goals, policies, and priorities.
Serve as the representative and spokesperson, building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, funders, and community stakeholders.
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations, ensuring financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
Lead and support a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and impact.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Fundraising & Financial Oversight
Drive revenue generation through strategic loan fund management, grants, partnerships, and innovative fundraising campaigns.
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective use of resources.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential funders, including government agencies, foundations, corporations, and individuals.
Program Development
Conduct regular field visits in partner communities to properly Identify community needs.
Design programs and/or potential partnerships aimed to provide and improve access to microloans and other related services.
Ensure continuous program evaluation and improvement to maximize community impact.
Establish partnerships with local agencies, community leaders, and financial institutions to enhance service delivery and broaden the organization’s reach.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a key leadership role within a non-profit, financial, or social enterprise environment.
Proven track record of successful fundraising, grant writing, and donor relationship management.
Extensive experience in financial management and financial oversight, with skills in budgeting and reporting
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated understanding of microfinance principles, community economic development, and/or small business financing.
